Interpretation Notes
Emergency indicators should be reviewed frequently and linked to operational decisions. A small delay in reporting can make otherwise accurate data less useful for response coordination.
Data Quality Checks
Define target areas: Response coverage depends on accurate affected population and household lists.
Track timing: Record alert time, verification time, investigation time, and response start time consistently.
Monitor stockouts by item: Overall stockout rates can hide shortages of critical commodities.
